Storeserver Systems GmbH, an IT and software development company based in Stuttgart, Germany, needed to simplify its work with third-party controls while still maintaining its app’s look and feel. Software developer Stefan Ziemann and his team chose the Essential Studio for Blazor control suite for its wide breadth of high-performing, customizable controls and reliable support.
Challenges and objectives
Stefan and his team were creating a single-page application in ASP.NET Blazor to help customers import, manage, export, and share their data. The app’s front end would be accessible to every modern browser. This time, however, they needed to do things differently.
“We originally had a lot of controls that we coded ourselves in ASP.NET Framework,” Stefan explained. “Maintaining as well as extending these controls became quite difficult with the requirements and complexity that have been added over the decades.”
The goal was to outsource the UI controls while keeping as much of the customizability as possible. Performance was also a key concern.
Solution
After an easy integration and smooth start with Essential Studio, Stefan’s team became a bit flummoxed when they attempted to implement more complex requirements. Contacting the Syncfusion support team, their questions were answered and the minor bugs they encountered were fixed with alacrity. Stefan says that his team adapted, learned, and now has very little trouble using Syncfusion controls.
“The Syncfusion controls fit our requirements,” Stefan said. “The available properties in the controls provide the requirement to customize quite well.”
His team was especially pleased with the features of the Blazor DataGrid, Toolbar, and Dialog controls.
Results
Stefan is very happy with the Syncfusion Blazor control library. Thanks to its controls being so customizable, their app still looks and functions exactly as expected, but its code is far easier to maintain and extend.
“Use Syncfusion if you want to use a strong and powerful component library with official support,” he recommended.
